One warm city night on the north side of Chicago a group of friends and musicians from across the great lakes gathered over music and wine. They did ruminate, bloviate, commiserate and then discuss Tom Waits. They talked as musicians often do, that they should do show sometime. Four months later they traveled from city to city across the midwest, preaching the vaudevillian gospel of Tom Waits with the fervor of a televangelist, and all the couth of a used car salesman.
The Piano Will Be Drinking again for one night only this November 21st, Thanksgiving Eve in Ferndale, MI at Valentine Distilleries! It is sure to be a party again, with songs spanning the career of Tom Waits for 2 hours (there will be a 20 minute intermission)
