Radio Cobra was established by the cofounder of legendary 89x Windsor/Detroit, Greg St. James. For those of you not from the Great Lakes/Rustbelt region, the station was known for making waves and played an important role in breaking artists in the region you couldn't hear elsewhere, and the country followed. Fans wanting an alternative tuned in as far away as Cleveland for decades.
What a fantastic tradition! The station includes some fine people and veterans of Detroit broadcasting I am excited to work with! And I look forward to sharing more amazing music you won’t hear on corporate airwaves.
