Why not?
I feel privileged to meet and hang with cool people every time we host a mixer with Guitar Hi-Fi. They have been so generous providing food, beverages, sound and printing, I hope you'll not only pop in, but take something home with you for the holidays.
I'm super excited to have Kevin Kay give you a sneak preview of the Detroit Music Census !
The Detroit Music Census is coming thanks to Sound Music Cities and The Detroit Music Collaborative! And we want all y'all in on it!
You'll also have a chance to meet Catch and Play Songs, Grove Studios, Life In Michigan and the Marshall's of Gig - The Art of Michigan Music, Bands and Fans to hear what's new for them in the coming year.
As always the mixer will benefit a regional, music related non-profit. This time it is Manchester Underground - a non profit that hosts pop-up listening concerts and provides a fantastic environment for artists and music lovers, and supports programs and organizitions that serve our autistic population.
Locally owned Static Effectors pedals will also be on site with a Demo featuring Dylan Dunbar and Maybe you.
This time every dollar you donate also serves as a vote in our 2025 Detroit Guitar Face Smackdown.
Check out our Gallery of Guitar Faces here and vote 3 ways:
A donation to Manchester Underground Via Paypal with a note for who your votes go to:
A donation in person at the Mixer. We do a $5 suggested donation, turn no one away.
A like on the pictures you like in the gallery.
See you there!
